Bing Releases Auto-Tagging for Google Analytics

Post click tracking of your ad traffic is a really big deal. Without it, you really don’t have the full story of account performance.

Bing Ads has always been a bit of a rough patch when it comes to tagging for Google Analytics. In fact, auto-tagging has long been one of the most requested features for this platform. If you’ve had to trudge through the task of getting utm tags on your ads and keeping them there then you know why an auto-tagging option would be so helpful.

Last July, a company named Bizible released a free auto-tagging tool that has saved our lives. Our pal, Ginny Marvin over at Search Engine Land covered the release and talks about her test drive of the tool here.

Last week Bing Ads also added an auto-tagging feature right inside the user interface. It was announced in the June What’s New in Bing Ads video posted to their YouTube Channel.

Yay! Check it out!

  2. Hooray!
Best invention in a long while (especially the option to overwrite existing utms you already have in 23,000 different ad URLs :-)
