Earlier today, our friends over at PPC Hero posted their awesome The Top 25 Most Influential PPC Experts in 2014 list based on community votes and a couple other factors. Their list is fantastic and full of awesome PPC-ers, but talks in the twitter-verse have been discussing the lack of women on the list. So in an attempt to give praise where it’s due, Clix decided to put together our own list of influential women in PPC. Without further ado, here’s Clix Marketing’s list of the Top Influential Women in PPC.

While this is certainly a strong showing, we can’t have possibly covered everyone who has been influential to you. Who would you add to the list? Share your favorite PPC ladies in the comments!
And don’t forget the fabulous Michelle Morehouse!
Michelle authored this article and of course she’s too humble to include herself but she absolutely belongs on this list among all these fabulous ad ladies!
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting nearly all these women and they’re deserving of the recognition. A smart bunch and exceptional at what they do.
Perfect! So many awesome ladies on here that I’ve had a chance to get to know. Great idea Michelle! I echo Heather’s comment that you should have been on here too!
I’ve heard of more people here than on a certain other blog’s most influential list
Honored to be on this list of these fabulous ladies. Thank you Clix! Yes, Michelle – you should have included yourself as well.
I’m so thankful to be working in such a vibrant industry that keeps my brain challenged, my hands busy, and my energy socially engaged and connected. The support and camaraderie of both the men and women in this industry always continues to surprise and amaze me. Grateful.
Someone more clever than I should do a rewrite of Beyonce’s “All the Single Ladies” to be “All the PPC Ladies.” That’d be fun.
…and now I’m just embarrassing myself.
The female presence in marketing as a whole, but specifically in PPC, is very strong. Still amazes me that at the surface level there is such an imbalance (e.g. top influencer lists, conference speakers). Everyone on this list is amazing and I’m sure we probably left some rockstars off this list!
Honored to be listed among all of these talented ladies (including Michelle M.). We had a stronger showing on the LeadTail SEM Influencer list, but I agree that overall, the female perspective and presence seems to be underrepresented in the list & speaker realms.
Lists like this can help to change that, as well as starting the conversation. Was so thrilled at the positive tone of the a Twitter chatter on this subject yesterday – that is not often the case when gender questions are raised.
So, here’s to a field that is full of more progressive views. Let’s work together – PPC ladies & gents – to keep this conversation going and continue to shake up the traditional landscape!
PPC is only part of what I do, but it is my favorite space to interact in precisely because of things like this. You all rock:).
“If you like it then you should have put some Bing on it…” Not a bad idea, John. 😉
Thanks so much for including me, all. So nice to see a list of faces I was surprised didn’t make it onto the other one! (I don’t mean mine – quite frankly I’m beyond flattered I’m on this one!)
Thanks for including me, great to acknowledge so many.
I would like to add my friend Merry Morud, who speaks extensively worldwide on Facebook PPC. I can’t count the number of speaking engagements and articles she’s done and has an inside scoop on FB PPC. Thanks all!
Great suggestion Lisa! I’ve just added Merry to the list!
Thank you for including me on this list of fabulous PPC women 🙂
Thank you so much, Michelle. It’s an honor to be included alongside such superstars. I hope this inspires more ladies to join the crazy, wonderful world of PPC.
