Is The AdWords Keyword Planner Getting A(nother) Facelift?

The keyword tool planner has gone through a lot of changes over the last couple years and it appears another one is coming. Here is what I discovered in one of my AdWords accounts recently (from what I can tell, it’s not in all accounts yet, but many).

As you can see, AdWords continues to try and make their tools more user-friendly. In this case we’ve got a section to “Find new keywords” and a section to “Plan your budget”. But if we compare this to the previous look, we can see that this change is only skin deep since the 4 options are the same, just reordered and labeled somewhat differently.

  1. I see Google is revamping in many areas, like the above keyword tool, as well as how articles look in the Help Center, but as you write above, the changes only appear to be “skin deep”. The underlying information is still the same, the layout has just been improved. I like the changes though, I definitely think they look better.
